Fonterra to Use Nutrition and Probiotic Research in Infant and Senior Product Development

Fonterra is hoping to leverage its infant nutrition expertise to tap into the aged care market. Fonterra's research in nutrition, such as probiotics, will also contribute to new product development in 'healthy ageing'. Fonterra also hopes to use its probiotic experience in developing more infant nutrition products that specifically address concerns of mothers in the areas of immune system development.
